Just completed an embedded control system for a small industrial machine, the prototype looks great and works well.  I'm glad the customer went down this route, it is all too easy to specify and add a PLC, but this solution was neater and much cheaper.

I've also been approached by a filler manufacturer here in Manchester to design and program the control system for their new filler :)   Using Siemens S7-1200 PLCs and Micromaster inverters.
